Great site-- My duty started with 1st of 40th at Ft. Sill when unit was reorganized, around 4/20/66, left for Viet Nam 9/23/66 via boat ride, was in Dong Ha (B Btry) until 6/1967 (approx) then rotated to the south for 4 more months. I was the battery "mail clerk" (not considered to be a "risky job" but hey "someone had to do it".) I also was often called "eagle beak"
